1. INTRODUCTION
DailyFuel (“the App”) is provided by BAPTISTA ELECTRIC, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), USA. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you record fuel purchases, track vehicle mileage, review fuel expenses, and manage local settings.
2. INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO ENTER
The App allows you to save fuel fill-up dates, fuel station names, fuel types, odometer readings, fuel quantities (liters), prices per liter, and related cost calculations. You can also set a monthly fuel budget and select a preferred currency. The App uses these values to display fuel history, summaries, expense charts, and mileage estimates.
3. LOCAL STORAGE AND OFFLINE OPERATION
DailyFuel stores your saved records and preferences in private SharedPreferences storage on your Android device. The reviewed version works offline, does not require registration or a user account, and does not request the Android INTERNET permission. The App is not designed to upload your records to servers operated by us.
4. ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING, AND TRACKING
The reviewed version does not integrate advertising or analytics SDKs and does not use tracking SDKs to collect App usage information. It does not automatically transmit your fuel logs to us.
5. OPTIONAL BACKUP AND RESTORE
If you choose to export a backup, the App creates a JSON file containing your fuel entries, budget, and currency settings. You choose where to save this file using Android's file picker. If you import a backup, the imported entries and settings replace the corresponding local data in the App. Exported backup files are outside the App's private storage and may be accessible to other people or services depending on where you save or share them. You are responsible for securing and deleting those exported files.
6. CONTACT SUPPORT AND EXTERNAL EMAIL SERVICES
When you select Contact Support, the App may open an email app so you can voluntarily send a message to info@baptistaelectric.site. Your email address and information included in your message will be processed by your chosen email service and received by us to respond to your request. The App does not automatically attach or send your fuel records to support.
7. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Saved entries remain on your device until you edit or delete them, clear fuel records within the App, clear the App's data in Android settings, or uninstall the App. Clearing fuel records in the App does not necessarily reset budget and currency preferences. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data removes locally stored App records, subject to device behavior. Exported JSON backups must be deleted separately wherever you stored them. Android automatic backup is disabled in the reviewed App configuration.
8. SECURITY
The App relies on Android app-private storage to help protect locally saved data. No method of storage or transfer is completely secure. Use a device screen lock and protect any JSON backups you export.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
DailyFuel is intended as a general fuel and vehicle expense utility, not as a service specifically directed to children. The App does not knowingly collect children's personal information through company-operated servers.
10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may revise this Privacy Policy if the App's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. An updated policy will include an updated effective date.
